Assured of God’s Love (Horizons magazine)
God’s enduring love is a source of comfort and hope for many people; yet people who need to know of God’s love may not receive that message. First Presbyterian Church in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, established a prison ministry to offer spiritual accompaniment to men at a recovery facility. During their 12-month, 12-step program men who have been convicted of a nonviolent felony receive addiction treatment and tools to connect with God.
