Mission Tours

Knowing how much Presbyterian Women love mission and love being together, Presbyterian Women Churchwide now coordinates hands-on mission tours. Whether you attend with a group or find yourself a new group of like-minded Presbyterian Women, these tours are an opportunity to learn more about mission and to do more mission. The foci of PW mission opportunities change as new ideas are received.

Recent mission trips have included Ferncliff Camp and Conference Center in Little Rock, Arkansas and the Brethren Service Center in Windsor, Maryland. Touring these locations allows women to learn more about disaster response and to assemble hygiene kits for distribution to people who have lost everything.

In partnership with the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Program, PW encourages women to receive training so that they can train their own congregations how to prepare for disaster.
