Beyond the Dress
Mission co-worker Christi Boyd describes the partnership between Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Dandridge, Tennessee, and the Protestant Council of Churches in Congo (ECC). ECC leaders guide children who have experienced trauma through Bible-based healing curriculum; gifts from Hopewell help pay for the materials and hand-sewn items are visible reminders that the children are also loved and supported by siblings in faith around the world.
