Justice & Peace Links, Women’s Empowerment
A few times a year, a newsletter dedicated to Presbyterian Women’s justice and peace concerns is published—Justice & Peace Links. Refreshed and restarted in 2018, the second issue focuses on women’s empowerment.
Current events demonstrate that even in the so-called ‘advanced societies,’ women suffer harassment, abuse and discrimination. The month of March has long been known for its observance of women’s history, but PW has declared it Women’s Empowerment Month, as well. In recognition of the work PW is doing to empower women, through its mission programs and advocacy work, this issue of Justice & Peace Links provides information and resources for your work around women’s empowerment at any time of year.
